CSBP – NuLogic Engine

Phobos was engaged by Agworld to develop the NuLogic engine, which used Solver Foundation to provide soil and plant analysis. Phobos developed a RESTful interface to wrap the NuLogic engine, and also developed a web application so that the CSBP users could maintain the models.

CBH Group – Quality Optimisation

Phobos developed a solver that blended a grower’s loads to achieve the optimal quality or value, based on prices inputted by the grower. Phobos explored various algorithms and found that the Ant Colony algorithm produced the best solution.

Watco – Resource Scheduler

A linear solver was used to find the optimal schedule for the Watco staff, based on the drivers route training and the routes scheduled for that week, with the aim of limiting the total staff wages.

DailyGrain – OptimiserPLUS

Phobos developed a solver that blended a grower’s loads to optimise the return for growers on contracts and cash prices. The Gurobi linear engine was leveraged, and managed to outperform the existing solvers used by CBH for Quality Optimisation.
